Perry to Federal Workers: Share My Vision or Get Punished
posted by Ed Staff | Thursday, December 01, 2011

Perry:

"Having men and women who share my philosophy, and then giving that clear instruction to those agencies, and if the bureaucrats in those agencies try to block -- for Health and Human Services is a great example," he continued. "If you have Health and Human Service bureaucrats that try to block our being able to block grant dollars back to the states so you all can decide how best to handle health care in New Hampshire -- I don't think you can fire federal bureaucrats, but you can reassign them -- so reassign them to some really God-awful place."

Pat, Grand Lake Colorado: The President of American Crystal Sugar Mr. Dave Berg gets $2.5 million in total compensation. The next VP gets about $950,000 in total compensation. The average worker that was locked out by American Crystal Sugar gets between $30,000 to $50,000 annually. A company that makes large profits, as do the sugar beet farmers, locked the workers out because they wanted them to pay more for health insurance plus wanted the right to move more non-union workers into the work place. Mr. Berg is more important I guess than the workers who want health care for their family. Anyway why should the U.S. taxpayer subsidize sugar beets when we could import sugar cane from Cuba cheaper? The only reason Democrats support the sugar program is because there are union votes involved. If the union gets busted there remains NO REASON for the taxpayer to subsidize expensive sugar beets when we can have cheaper cane sugar. The greed of this company to screw its union workers out of health care benefits threatens the political future of the sugar program in a time of scarce federal resources. Many people are looking for cuts and the sugar program is on the list. Ever heard this story in other places across America?

Share my vision or get punished? thats republican communism, the GOP loves the commies because they can get large numbers of people to work for next to nothing, something the rightwing would love to implement in this country.

Lets see how much those companies make without those workers. If it weren't for the front line worker, in any company, that company goes broke.

Mr. Fargo, right you are! These companies take government subsidies like no tomorrow. A few get really, really rich, a few do ok, and there is nothing to trickle down to workers. It is immoral for all profits to go to a few and not be shared with all who work for the company. This is true for Walmart, American Crystal, Cooper Tire, American Arlines or whoever. A CEO gets a 100% pay raise, from $2million to $4million, and the workers are told they are earning too much. The system stinks.

TAX THE RICH, the only way $ will ever trickle down.

In my opinion American Crystal Sugar is following ALEC's playbook & following the Radical Republican national lead by attacking labor.

I live in sugar beet country & many of the farmers in my area are millionaires & the Government subsidizes them. The smell/stinky/stench of the sugar processing is the smell of greedy money.

Luntz says this is the new GOP Talking Points:

1. Don't say 'capitalism.'

2. Don't say that the government 'taxes the rich.' Instead, tell them that the government 'takes from the rich.'

4. Don't talk about 'jobs.' Talk about 'careers.'

5. Don't say 'government spending.' Call it 'waste.'

6. Don't ever say you're willing to 'compromise.'

7. The three most important words you can say to an Occupier: 'I get it.'

8. Out: 'Entrepreneur.' In: 'Job creator.'

9. Don't ever ask anyone to 'sacrifice.'

10. Always blame Washington.

11. Don't say 'bonus!'
Mr. Fargo

The Republican Party is losing the battle on the issues:

They are wordsmithing their talking points to disguise their attack on the middle class.

Is he still speaking? He doesn't know the voting age from the drinking age or his ass from his elbow... Is he still speaking? Go home to dumbutt texas buddy, and sell your idiotic dream there to the rednecks who will kiss your ass... literally! When will his old lovers come forward and tell all?

Rex, listening to the Crystal Sugar story on Ed's radio show today.. he finally heard you in Morehead!! I think a general strike of all Americans workers is due. We simply cannot continue on this foolish path of income disparity and inequality. This will absolutely be the downfall of America. It is literally the rich paying half the poor to kill the other half! Time to put a stop to this nonsense any way we can!

OCCUPY DC!!! TAX THE RICH, the only way out of this mess!!

Very sad day when a jerk like him gets to speak hate for people who have protected this country's natural gifts from the time that R.M. Nixion started the EPA. Who do they think cuase the pollution, the smog, and toxic waste the pollution fairies. No it wasnt, but most is traced back to the job creators who polluted the water, air, and raped the land to increase their profit. I think ricky should be sent to some g-d awful place like the unemployement line, or better yet to be a greeter at target or walmart after he finishs his other low paying jobs at jack in the box and taco bell. What he is calling for is a dictatorship plain and simple. You either believe in my way, or you can hit the highway, his plan doesnt include the high way...

just my humble view
