Republicans are losing their leverage on the debt ceiling. Big business, Wall Street, and the Republican base are all asking Republican lawmakers to fall in line. Even Karl Rove seems to know what's at stake. Watch it.

I am just quite tired of all of them, frankly. Rove is just a snake oil salesman, just like Beck, Drugster, Nugent, Palin, and all the rest. They don't hold their worth in anything. They are the ones who are constantly lying about what the First and Second Amendments really say, and mean, and call for people to form militia's against the tryrannical Government. I just got through reading a big article about all the lying, concerning the writings of Thomas Jefferson. How, most of what he is suppossed to have said is totally wrong and not true, and some of it could have been written by a speechwriter, and not be neccessarily what Jefferson's own feelings on them were.

In the Second Amendment, where it mentions the Militia, it does not mean that a militia must go up against Goverment, like these TEA PARTY", folks all claim that it means. The Militias that were talked about back then were designed to protect the country against a foreign invader, not neccessarily the Government. But too listen to these extreme people talk, they have it all figured out, to out and out lie, and fearmonger. They are all very good at it. Good Grief!

Excuse me America, a flu shot will help, but it won't keep you from getting sick. A flu shot is a dumbed down dose of a virus that might be bad, which helps the body wart off the potential illness. I got a flu shot and still got a good cold, over here in Korea, which I blame on the attrocious weather over here! The flu shot does help. Those people who say don't bother, you get sick anyway, are STUPID!!!!!!! If you get sick, stay home", don't go out where you will pass around what you have!!!HELLO!!!!!!!!!!

With the GOP, corporate profits are paramount to all other concerns, they dream of a society that is very un-civilized!

If the gop keeps hanging its hat with the tea baggers and the other radicals they will go the way of the dinos. They wont be wiped out by an astroid but by the greed and hate that the tea baggers are bringing into the gop. The americans with common sense are seeing them for what they are a bunch of crazies and the moderates are just sitting there and not speaking up. The right needs to wake up and see that they losing all the battles these days because of the radicals. The people with the guns are crazy, the people with the anti woman's health based on abortion are crazy, the people who are holding the nation hostage over the debt are crazy. The radicals are just crazy and their supporters are not waking up as they are filled with hate for anyone who dont agree with them.

No Compromising on the Debt Ceiling,,,,,,,,,,it is nothing but a GOP bluff..............the same should have happened with the so called Fiscal Cliff............Harry Reid had a deal with no concessions in the bag.

The Radical Republican Debt Ceiling Bluff

I blogged this before: BIg Business & Wall Street won't let the Republican Party Default on our Credit by not paying he bills because it will hurt their pocket books big time.......more common sense...............so in my opinion President Obama should dare them to do it.....he should have let Harry Reid handle Fiscal Cliff & never sent Joe Biden to compromise with McConnell, in my opinion Harry Reid would have given zero concessions to the GOP that the White House gave up in their watered down deal.

Karl the Head just wont go away, even after losing big donor$ much dinero last election. I think the majority including the big money boys and girls, have had enough of the pubs threatening to shut us down under the guise of further indebting our children. Boehner and the cartoonish McConnell just aren't intimidating anybody. Debts just don't matter when they have the Whitehouse. They've proven that several times. The pubs have a big problem with infighting, and it couldn't happen to a sweeter bunch. Now is the time for the Dems to be united, reducing the pubs to yammer on with their tired wedge issues for lack of any innovation or leadership. The "new" Congress is in, and what are the big issues with the righties? Guns, women's rights,....Stand by for God and gays, death to unions, privatizing education, trickle down.... yadda yadda.

I do not give much credence to Rove because he is such a snake in the grass. Behind the scenes he is probably telling the GOPs something totally different. I'm not so sure of Wall Street either since they can make a ton of money shorting the markets. Oftentimes their actions speak so loud we cannot hear what they really are saying.
