Elizabeth Warren is likely to join the banking committee after she's sworn in this January. Senator-elect Warren is a strong consumer advocate whose appointment to head the Consumer Protection agency was filibustered by Republicans. Sherrod Brown joins Ed to discuss what Warren's leadership on the committee means for Americans. Watch it.

You want to know why it is that Americans love Elizabeth Warren?

It is NOT just because she is a strong leader in FIGHTING OUR FIGHT.

It is NOT just because she knows and understands us, she “knows and understands” because she IS “US”.

The reason Americans LOVE ELIZABETH is because she knows the issues we are facing, she stays focused on the facts, and most importantly SHE KEEPS US INFORMED AND AWARE OF WHAT IS GOING ON IN WASHINGTON TODAY.

I am soooooooooooooo elated she pushed Wall Street darling Brown out of offfice after his short stint. After reading that he had received (I believe) $19 Million in the short time he was in office, I knew who had normal Americans back! She will probably give the RepubliCONS a opportunity to work with her. Then, when they don't she'll take them to the woodshed, out back, knock them out and take all their lunch money....................telling them ahead of time, what she's gonna do, before she does it...................and just simply keep her word! Banksters beware!!!

I can't wait to see Elizabeth Warren take on Wall Street because she doesn't mince words. She's extremely knowledgeable and confident. Right now, she has the Repubs quaking in their boots because of the way she tells average Americans what greed really is.

She is one smart lady! Hopefully the American consumers will be protected with her placement on this committee. I am sure she will call out the backstabbers sitting on the Finance Committee.

Taking just a moment to remember U.S. Congressman Jack Brooks who died last night in Beaumont. He and I share the same college alma mater.

He was a great public servant and I had the pleasure of meeting him in person and seeing him several times in Beaumont.

I remember he was at Lamar University when Al Gore came to campaign for Bill Clinton in 1992, he along with Rep. Charlie Wilson.

He was a good steward of the taxpayer's money as I know Elizabeth Warren will be.

He was a WWII veteran. He was influential in the impeachment of Richard Nixon during the Watergate hearings and helped to draft the articles.

He is one more lost from a bygone era when our representatives remembered who sent them to Washington.

Rest in peace, Congressman Brooks. You will be missed.

I think it would be great if Elizabeth Warren serves on the Banking Committee. With her experiences and knowledge, she will help to bring balance to the banking industry regulations. This is something that has been lacking for too many years now.
