Republican Governor John Kasich is the fifth GOP Governor to say yes to expanding Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act. The professed Obamacare opponent is finally making some sense and doing what's right. Ed's here with an explanation on why Republicans are beginning to cave on their opposition to Obamacare.

This repub wakeup sounds fishy to me. I don't believe they have finally seen the light...I believe it is a trick...for democrats & Independents to let their guard down and trust them to do what they say, they are going to do. The repubs are going to lie to get votes get elected or re-elected an BOOM.....they will not be bipartisan and they will not vote yes on the promises they made..............

People who vote republican need to have the nursing home call them and tell them to come pick up their relative, take them home and care for them YOURSELVES!

The Republican Party is in complete disarray, they have a problem called the far right tea party & primaries...........looks like they are trying to deal with the problem now, because if they don't you can kiss the Republican Party as we know it goodbye.........the country is center left & if they keep going far right it is game over.........

Eugenie, I agree. They failed to make him a one term President, but that doesn't stop their unbridled hate of the man. Kasich has either seen the light, or he is realizing the tea is weak, and they have to tone it down for possible 2014 seats. I don't trust him or any other righty, especially in the sudden embrace of Hispanics after screaming for self deportation, electric fences, , great walls, etc etc.

Eugenie, May I suggest New Mexico as a place to retire? Las Cruces has the perfect climate and we are very much a blue state (in spite of our lame governor).

Some of these people in the GOP finally see that the healthcare law is not going anywhere, and that too many in their states depend on it. They cannot use the same bull-crap that they used before, on wanting to repeal that law, especially since the President was re-elected for another four years. So the Affordable Care Act, stays there whether they like it or not, tough cookies. They know full well why the President won again, because he talked to, and with the people not against them.

To change to another subject, The GOP, and the right just can't seem to devise a way to bring down the President. Lets See! On the floor of the Senate with the likes of angry, and jealous, McCain, and Lindsay Graham, and Stupid, Rand Paul, and others, they just couldn't seem to bring down the President, by trying to bring down, Clinton, Kerry, or Hagel! Whose next? Oh! there will be some others, because the President indeed has more important positions to fill.

On the subject of McCain. He only got into the Navy, because of his Dad's career, and not anything he himself was going to bring to it. The truth being, that, I have read numerous articles on that subject. He did in fact, make some very big mistakes, which cost lives, and damaged property. I can't understand why he wasn't kicked out of the Navy, because of it.

The state of Arizona has some very big issues, and problems.

My husband said the other day, in dismay, that he had once, considered, Arizona, as a possible place to retire, but laughed and exclaimed, not in a million years now!
