42 versus 43

While Bill Clinton is out stumping for President Obama and winning over independent voters, George W. Bush is in the Cayman Islands speaking to millionaires and billionaires. It would be nice to tell you more about the event, but Bush's team has imposed a total media blackout of the event. We can only presume the blackout is because it's such a wholesome, well-intentioned event, right? Watch it.

I agree that he's out of sight because, if he had done such great things for the American people, the repubs would be placing Bush on a pedestal. They know that he and Cheney are responsible for this mess, but spin-meister Romney is repackaging it and selling it back to the American people as "change". God forbid if the Repubs win the Congress too.

It is a sad reflection of a failed President. Instead of taking responsibility, President GW Bush has chosen to escape to the Caymans to give a speech to the 1% about keeping more of their wealth by paying less taxes. Mitt Romney is a perfect example of the type of person that GW will be targeting in his speech. Neither man seems to want to make a difference with Americans who are struggling as a result of the Bush policies (which Romney wants to continue). Instead they are looking only at what is best for them. Bush was a puppet for the wealthy and Mitt will not be any different.

He is hiding out in the caymans... the gop/tea baggers dont really want him to show up at any event, and they know he screwed the economy, and then lied us into war. Most agree that the afgan war was something we had to do, but Iraq wasnt needed it and not only cost us in debt it cost us more dearly in human terms.

How can a man that did these things stand up and say how bad the current president is doing. I hope he gets a good tan and has a good time visiting mitts and his money.
