What a performance, Mr. Romney ! You came out of your Debate Corner barking like and enraged Terrier just let out of the strapped-to-the-top-of-the-vehicle Carrier (was Big Bird along for the windy ride ?) you’ve become so popular for using, and let President Obama have it at every twist and turn.
If it moved, you bit it !
That’s what well trained Canines Do, Sir. So, well done !
President Obama, Sir, you came prepared for an amicable lecture and exchange of poignant ideas. Sir, you were mis-informed. You should have walked into the Debating Ring with a dog whistle and Canine verbal cues of command and re-direction.
Re-Direction, you query ?
Yes, Sir. Re-Direction toward the Truth of Mr. Romney’s True Intentions and Plans for America and the Globe.
Mr. Romney’s Ultimate Plan (wrapped around his many other Plans): More Gains for the 1%ers (some, not all, but an accumulative gaggle) and the Feudal Corporate and Familial Kingdoms they are Creating Globally. And further devastating Austerity Societal and Economic Measures for the ever dwindling Middle Class and ever growing Working Poor and Jobless Poor (Veterans, the Elderly, Students, the Disabled, those on Medicare and Medicaid, Children…etc.).
Yes, Mr. Romney, you’re a great Businessman. A great King Con. All King and Queen Cons are darkly wonderful smiling and grimacing Prevaricators and Illusionists. It’s one of their many traits and talents. It’s one of their many skills that make them so successful at pulling the wool over the eyes of the very Sheeple/People they are stealing the wool from in the first place. Baaa !
Yes Sir, Mr. Romney, you are the perfectly coiffed barking and chest thumping King Con for the National and Global 1%ers (some, not all, but an accumulative gaggle). You will make sure that they get everything they Want (not Need, but merely Want and Crave).
You will gut Education. You will gut Social Security. You will gut Medicare into a privatized, profit driven Voucher system that leaves We the 99% of The People easy Prey for your 1%er cohorts and cronies (Global Mega-Insurance Corporations, Global Pharmaceutical Corporations, and the Mega-Banks and Wall Streeters and their Investors who own these Mega-Corporations or have Mega-Shares in them).
After all, according to the King and Queen cons of the World a Life well Lived is all about Profit, and who you Profited from and possibly mashed into the dirt in order for you 1%ers to Stand Above (or right on top of) the rest of all of the bleating Sheeple/People beneath you steel-toed boots, and ice pick stilettos. Baaa !
Yes, the Romney Attack Canine grabbed the Professorial and politely stumbling President Obama by the back of his pants leg, and never let go.
As a result, the Man who will really Work to Energize, Protect, Uplift and Create a Fair and Just Playing Field for the Middle Class, Working Poor and Jobless Poor (the folks Mr. Romney thinks should be written off and ignored, because they are the 47% Lazy Moochers) to Opportunistically Grow and Prosper within and upon looked Asleep-at-the-Wheel. And the growling, head snapping Attack Canine, Mr. Romney, looked fiercely competitive and surprisingly Compassionate toward EveryOne but Sesame Street’s Big Bird. Grrrr ! Woof ! Woof !
Yes Sir, Mr. Romney, your First Debate with Preseident Obama is being oddly called a Win for you (even though your, and the radicalized Republican Party’s, Plans and Agendas will be the Bane-Bain of the razzle-dazzled Middle Class, Working Poor and Jobless Poor).
Why a Bane-Bain, sir ? Well, Mr. Romney, Sir, you’re an out-of-touch (in-touch with only your own Feelings and Wants, and those of your immediate Family, cronies and cohorts) Prevaricating King Con, Sir. The Power Hungry 1%ers will always be the Ruination of truly Free, Fair and Just Thinking Societies.
Why, you ask, Sir ? Because you truly do believe that you are better than and Superior to EveryOne of the 99%ers, Sir. Your View is skewed.
Another inconvenient Truth, Sir, is that due to the radicalism of your own Republican Party, and the many varied flippity-floppity stances from Right to Left that you have taken politically in your Life in order to be elected from one public and private office to another, who can really Trust you ?
During the First Debate Mr. Romney gave all of We the People Lessons on brutish, rude and un-Civil Behaviors during Discourse. Lessons on how to ram-rod, run right over and dismiss Moderate Moderators, who were there to ensure a Fair and Just Playing field. Your Behaviors were Tattle-Telling, Sir.
Yes Sir, you’re an impressive Bully Boy. Your forced hair cut antics from your high school days preceded you all the way to the Debate Floor, Sir.
Grrr ! Woof ! Woof !
“Git ’em Boy !” Shout your 1%ers cronies and cohorts and radicalized Far Right, Put Women in their Proper Place, and the Social Lepers in their Leper Colonies and black holes in the ground, Handlers and red-faced Fans. “Drag ’em down in the grit, Mitt ! That a Boy !” Grrr ! Woof ! Woof !
But you tell us to Trust you, Sir Romney. Excuse me, Sir, but where are all of your Tax Returns over the past eight to ten years ? How many Tax Free Freeloading accounts do you have in the Cayman Island Banks, the Swiss Banks…etc. ?
Yes Sir, and after you and your 1%er ( not all, but an accumulative gaggle) cronies and cohorts have Vulture Capitalistically gutted America like you have previously gutted Companies, Corporations and all of their Worker Bees you chose to take Responsibility and Accountability for in the past with your Main-Bain-Drain Techniques and Machinations, where will all of We the People be moved to ? Where will America be out-sourced to ? What will be America’s new Allocation, Sir ?
No need to ship anyone or anything overseas because when the 1%ers (not all, but an accumulative gaggle) finally get everything Their Way the entire Globe will be a groveling, waning and chaotic Third World for the 1%ers (not all, but an accumulative gaggle) to greedily pluck and gluttonously Rule over.
That’s right ! The Sheeple/People that make up the 99%ers of the World are to be your gentlemen-in-waiting and ladies-in-waiting, your knights and squires, your vassals, serfs, servants and slaves, your tenant Farmers and Ranchers, your tenant Corporate Worker Bees. That’s your Ideal World. That’s your Utopian View and Purpose.
Yes Siree, Romney-rooski, thanks for revealing the Great Prevaricating, Lying, Mighty Chest Thumping King Con that you Can Be for All to See.
And President Obama, please, Sir, artfully and scientifically Confront and Dis-Mantle Mr. Romney’s Lies and Prevarications in the Debatable Future for the sake of America and the rest of the World.
By the way, can We the People get Re-Bates on any of these Presidential Performance De-Bates ?

unfortunately, i do not have the brainpower to pick apart all the lies, i just associate & listen to people i trust who are able to do the analysis.....its just so disappointing to have had such high hopes that the debate was going to be a "mother jones" moment that would finish romney off..then it didn't. dissapointment is severe. hope is not ended

Americans on a national level are finally seeing that ROMNEY bases his ENTIRE CAMPAIGN on the concept of “LYING and GETTING AWAY WITH IT”.
I keep waiting for Mitty to walk onto the stage, look into the camera with a shining smile and say…
“Hi, I’m Mitt…what’s your sign?”

Ron...you are right. Why does Romney want to be president, if not to inflict pain on the middle class the working poor and the poor? I think Obama got his message across..he made Romney own Vouchers and privatizing of social security....this alone should make up the minds of seniors....people who are putting the president down are over thinking this debate....

I was disappointed by Obama last night because he had ample opportunity to attack Romney with outsourcing of jobs, off shoring of money, the 47% remark he made, but Obama just stood like a kid being bullied on the playground. Romney said nothing, but his experience in business makes him look like an aggressive used car salesman. He stands tall, smiles, seems confident but people really need to think of what he and Ryan would do to our economy, health care and social safety nets.
Please, President Obama, you have 2 more debates so don't withhold all this ammunition that you have at your feet.

The debate wasnt good for the president. He had his moments but robme took the attack mode where the president told the facts and gave facts. I have looked at fact checking places and most of them show that most of what robme was saying was an out right lie or misleading. The president had a few things that werent lies, but were misleading also, but his statements were mostly true.
This morning a gop woman was on saying the usual stuff and when Sen. Sanders came back on her remarks and then time ran out she complained it wasnt fair I can bet if it was the other way around she would have be happy.
I agreed with Al that the president told the facts and how romney just show how he wants to run the country my way or the highway. He is a jerk the way he acted and it showed the president as gentleman, Romney just wants to run over everyone and if he wants to be president he cant do that. Is this how he wants deal with our allies and others countries? I see the future war and more wars, pollution and more pollution, poor and more poor, unemployment and more unemployment, rich and more rich. This is romney world....

President Obama allowed the american people to see Mitt Romney for who he is.....a man with no integrity or enthusiasm for justice....especially for those who cannot care fot themselves, the immigrants, the poverty strickened and the sick.
Mitt Romney can't see life for the trees.....he is too proud and contemptuous. A 'sugar high", doesn't cause arrogrance....learned behaviour does.
Mitt Romney lackes empathy...he is unable to recognize or experience how 47% of americans feel...while, selfishly promoting his own feelings of "entitlement"
Mitt Romney ran down a grocery list of what he would do if elected. His style of speech was excessively impressionistic and lacking detail.....NO SPECIFICS...1,2,3,4,5 once i caught a bug alive...next time Romney will take a dive. Big Bird????
As soon as Jim Lehrer said, welcome, Romney checked him out so he ( Romney) could achieve his own end. Did anyone see Lehrer near the end use a hand signal to Romney indicating ok..good job?
What does Romney think his voice sounds like when he lies? Romney activated many personalities during his speech. Pride and ego dominated .
Romney drew his heavy madeup brows together with a frown more than once. Romney keep his head down makig notes. Romney behaved irregularly and unequally. Romney suggested his 5 boys lie. Romney never included a family member to personalize his speech...."oh, I just thought of one." NOT SPONTANEOUS. Romney the official turnabout acussed President Obama of flip-flopping. Romney ask himself questions. Romney has 2 healthcare plans???? "if i don't like them I can get rid of them." aka..." I like to fire people." i watched the debate twice....what is Romney's plan?
If President Obama came across the way some folks wantedhi to....the first thing we would hear...Obama is an angry black man...
WHAT MATTERS: We know who wants to keep 100% of us safe...100% with healthcare and jobs with fair pay, affordable education and a chance for hard work to pay off....PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA...and the race has just begun.

John/LA, agreed about the religion part. As far as I'm concerned, Kennedy had the last word on that one.
I just can't help but get the feeling that people see these debates as some sort of boxing match, where the aggressor ususally wins. But what if what the aggressor is saying is ridiculous and makes absolutely no sense. The President pointed out a number of things Romney was saying that "didn't add up". I vote for a little more "passionate" portrayal of his views, but I am not for the aggressive, angry man approach. That was what got McCain defeated in the last election.
I am not saying that the President shouldn't take the debates seriously, of course he must. And yes, I thought he looked down too much, he needs to work on his body language. But to just be "aggressive" in my mind does not win debates. Because after each of these people do alot of dissecting of the candidate's actual positions.
Romney spent the entire debate criticizing his own healthcare plan and then completely walked back his position on taxes. Was anybody listening?
What Romney was full of last night was not substantive debate but more like hot air. He was pissed still about that video exposing him for what he truly is, an out of touch rich guy. He was champing at the bit to land a few punches. But excuse me, Big Bird?? Is that who we are going after, Big Bird?? Just ridiculous. The GOP has been trying to get rid of PBS since Reagan. What have they got against public television. For God's sake we grew up on it and so did our kids and now our grandkids! I'm about ready to get in the ring and go a few rounds with Romney on public television if he thinks we are going to get rid of it. Who does he think mostly supports PBS?? CORPORATIONS! That's who and they get big whopping tax breaks for that support, I do wish the President had mentioned that.
Right now the middle class is fighting for its entire existence. If Romney gets elected it is the last nail in the coffin. I realize that calls for some impassioned debate, but Obama walks a fine line here. Remember, he is black?? The dog whistlers love to call out the "angry black man" line every time. They have even used it on the First Lady.
You've got people like Gingrich saying Obama is "not a real President". This is the kind of crazy, irrational, mess of a party the GOP is. If you play into their hands and go into the crazy zone with them, you will suffer the consequences.
My solution is for the President to stay the course, stick with facts and figures, not myth like the GOP, and develop a more "impassioned" approach to his argument.
This game is far from over.

Ok, we loss one last night. President Obama needs some tough love. I'm an old, fat guy who never could have gotten into Harvard; but I think I could have done a better job than the President did last night. He needs to get whole new debate team for the next two debates. Its vital that he at least come-up to a draw with Governor Romney. He can start: 1. by pointing out the fallacies of Romney's statements; 2. by not letting Romney interrupt him; 3. by reminding voters of the things they don't like about Romney; 4 by just looking positive and confident--stop looking down and dejected; 5 by letting Romney get away with false statements; 6 by simply being more aggressive and yes, maybe, a little bit angry and 7 by, which is obvious that he needs to do, preparing more with practice, practice and more practice. The stakes are very high. A Romney presidency would be major catastrophe for this country. What's wrong with the Obama team? Didn't they know that Romney would come out of the gate well prepared and aggressive?
P.S. to Mr. blueb: I don't care what a candidates religion is. All religions are a little bit illogical if you look closely at them. Mormonism is good as any other religion and besides, the Constitution states that "there shall be no religious test" for public office.

All last night's debate showed was that if you like style over substance then Romney is your man. I know alot of people are disappointed and felt the President should have been "on the attack" as much as Romney. I am not one of them.
This President has shown over many years that he is a thinking man. He weighs issues carefully before making decisions and considers all sides. Anyone remember "no drama Obama"??
It is amazing that Romney is still arguing against his own healthcare plan. It is absolutely amazing to me that people think he is going to turn this whole thing around because he came out swinging, without even really listening to and thinking about what he actually said.
He even went back on his own tax plan. He probably has spent months "rehearsing" for his performance last night while the President had to be busy taking care of affairs of state. A sitting President just does not have time to stage mock debates with fellow politicians while we have Americans being killed overseas and an economy still in need of help.
I am not going to be one of the pundits criticizing the President today. I think a few MSNBC reporters went too far. Do they really think last night's "show" negates everything that Romney and Ryan have said thus far??
I agree with Rev. Sharpton, if fish wouldn't get caught if they didn't open their mouth so much. Romney's words have hung him out to dry up to this point. Let's pay more attention to what he is saying than how he is saying it.
