Newt Gingrich has managed to drag Mitt Romney into an ugly Senate race. Mitt now faces the choice of supporting a Democrat, Claire McCaskill, or throwing his support behind Todd Akin, the controversial candidate who made comments about 'legitimate rape.' Watch it.

two fools who should be told go away and shut up. If people vote for this man are just a foolish as the person the voted for. I guess this man and newt are now doctors or if not doctors are really women who are trying to be men. I just wish the gop=tea baggers would just go away or go to OZ and get a brain...

Gingrich, is nothing more than an ugly fool, who wants his time in the limelight, right before people vote.

I agree that Gingrich is for himself as he's made a fool of himself over the years, but seems to think that he has some great oratorical presence. I'm actually beginning to feel sorry for Romney who is really a moderate at heart. His problem is that he shouldn't have pretended to be a "severe conservative" when the far right was demanding an extremist point of view. Instead, he didn't stand for his principles or positions on health care and women's issues.

Romney is going to have the likes of this idiot Akin on his heals throughout the election. I don't think he bargained for that, but Obama could teach him a lesson by not being bi-partisan.

I agree with donnajoy. The newtster always puts himself first and party second. With his own sleazeball past, I could easily see him defending Akin. Birds of a feather. The right has more lunatics than you can shake a stick at. The longer the campaign, the more they sound insane.

Newt is for Newt. He will say or do anything to try to stay relevant. Gingrich's move here was bad for the GOP but just may be the good thing for the Democrats and Claire McCaskill. It put her over the top so she can win the election.
