IT’S THE MIDDLE CLASS STUPID!

Amen Fargo and P Girl, but what's up with the polls? Andrea Mitchell keeps saying Romney is 1% ahead on the question "who do you trust more to fix the economy?” Obama is leading by 1% overall. If the polls are reliable and that’s a big “IF”, then what it says is people may believe Romney could fix the economy, but don’t believe he would be as good a president in other areas that are as important such as national debt and our security, renewable energy, education, and healthcare. We still want Obama because he is a comprehensive president rather than a single issue guy who really just wants the prestige of the job and as soon as he gets it, he will go yachting with his wife. No thanks! Romney’s not a hard worker, he’s a slacker. He does the bare minimum and not one jot more. He gives a 9-5 performance then c locks out. We need to keep our hard working caring committed guy on the job. We know how we got into the mess. It was the same republican policies Romney supports and Obama’s polices are working. We have the data to back that up. We just have to keep working and have confidence in what we know works. IT’S THE MIDDLE CLASS STUPID!

I enjoyed what you had to say Puyallup Girl..............and you are spot on when you said: The fight has just begun!!!!..........I will add........it is the people versus the Corporate Takeover.........the boots on the ground versus Citizen's United..............our $5.00 dollar donations versus million dollar donations...........the truth versus the lies...........fact over GOP fiction..........

I couldn't het the Ed hangout thing to post or play.

Oh Well! I will comment on what occured at the Convention tonight.

Everybody was good, from the normal business people, and people who lost everything from Bain Capital, to the folks from Ohio and elsewhere where the jobs were rescused from the Loan to General Motors, by the Pres. To Cecile Richards, and Sandra Fluke, and Elizabeth Warren, who by the way, all rocked big-time.

Then Bill Clinton came on and almost tore the roof off the place with his explosive 40 minutes. He told it like it is, in his own special way like he always does. He went after the Republicans big-time, using a one word analogy, the word "Arithmetic", to explain the Republicans lack of simple ideas, or simple math, and their lack of anything to offer the country, and called out the Romney campaign for admitting, that they don't want to deal with anyone who has the facts. His way of using a joke, to explain something all the while using that contagious smile of his, was a winner. He was very passionate, and had me once again glued to the screen, as explained the real healthcare Act, the way it should have explained a long time ago. He extolled all of the virtues and the positive attributes of President Obama like no-one can do it. He used one example after another to sing the praises of what President Obama has done to help this country get out of the deep hole, that we found ourselves in after the last people left Washington. He stood up there and looked right into the camera and stated, that no President before him could have begun repairing the damage that was done to us during those eight years, and do it like Obama has done in just four years. Wow! big! Stuff! He had such big lines in that speech which almost tore the roof off the building. After the speech, he walked over to the edge of the stage, and President Obama came out and they embraced, I literally cried!

All I can say now, is Democrats you now have it all going, you better make good use of it. I don't know what Biden, and the President are going to say tommorrow night, but I'm sure it will be good, and memorable. I know they will send Clinton around the country over the next 8 weeks, and they need to. The democrats have been positive, so far, like they have needed to, and have gotten their jabs in, where they needed, as well! It will be a tough fight, but things look fairly good now. I feel a little better in some ways, but know that the fight has just begun! can't wait until the debates, bring them on!

The Radical Republican Party always try to make this bogus argument: Big Government verses Small Government...................this is my take on it.......the discussion needs to be re-framed this way......about Productive Government versus a Nonproductive Government.......that is the real issue......do you want a Productive Government that actually does something for the common good......a Government for the People By the People for the Good of the People.........a Government that protects its citizens & their rights.......a Government with safety nets......or do you want a Radical Republican Nonproductive Government by the Corporations for the Corporations that doesn't invest in its people......doesn't protect its citizens & basically exists to take away from the working class & give away your hard earned middle class tax dollars to the top 1% while allowing the FOX to Guard the Hen-house at the expense of everyone else.......the GOP try and label a Productive Government a Big Government and it is simply just another one of their distortions or just a big old LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Fargo

It was low voter turnout that gave the GOP the House in 2010.........they want to keep it that way.
Mr. Fargo

The Republican Party is so out of touch they think it is great & so American that the average person needs to work three jobs just to survive...........and part of the voter suppression is shorter & less voting hours, fewer places to vote along with obstacles where you need to find time to get the paperwork for voter ID's..............along with less access for etc..........
Mr. Fargo
9/5/2012 7:31:04 PM
That is exactly it Harold...........it is not easy for someone to vote when they have more than one job..............it was George W. Bush that stated to a single mother of three from Nebraska on 2-4-05 when she told him she had to work 3 jobs to survive: “You work three jobs? Uniquely American, isn't it? I mean, that is fantastic that you're doing that."

The Republican Party are suppressing the vote so they can steal the election.....just like they did to steal the election for George W. Bush.

On Eddie’s Live Chat, I couldn’t post for some reason…

Ed’s talking about the “grow a backbone” speech last night referring to the tendency of Dems to not get out the vote. I think that is due to Dems being the less idle group in America. Many Democrat families have multiple jobs. Some were laid off from good $20 per hour jobs and have had to get two $10 per hour jobs to survive. This is something the Republicans admire about Democrats and Americans. We are a hard working bunch, but that leaves us less time to do things like vote, participate in our government. You can see why our opponents admire that about us. Keep up the good work guys and don’t worry about government. We’ll take care of all that business for you. You just keep working your two jobs and in the next four years if we’re elected, we’re going to make sure you can get a third job if you want it.
