LIE FEST 2012:

The entire Foundation of the RNC is based on lies...........from the name We Built That........to the Fictional Obama on the chair that only a disillusional conservative could see.

Can We Change the Lie ?

There's a Child over there looking hungry and scared

He holds out his Hand needing Someone to Care

We turn Our heads

And pretend We don't See him

While the Poor suffer more

While the Rich grow more Elite

We shrug Our shoulders and just stare Our feet

We Say - Things will Better - You know they'll get Better

It's a Lie !

We Know it's a Lie

Behind it We hide from the things We're afraid of

No Evil We See

No Evil We Hear

Until We forget what it Feels like to Give Love

Can We Change the Lie ?

There's a Woman over there bent in despair

She's got two Babes to Feed and a Husband somewhere

She doesn't know where

It's been months since she's seen him

There's a Man over there with a beer on his knee

Escaping his Life through a rental TV

The things he Sees stir a Madness inside him

He doesn't want to Face the Rage in his Life

So he beats his kids and abuses his Wife

We Say - Things will get Better - You know they'll Better

It's a Lie !

We Know it's a Lie

Behind it We hide from the things We're afraid of

No Evil We See

No Evil We Hear

Until We forget what it Feels like to Give Love

Can We Change the Lie ?

We're Living in Times where a dollar's worth more

Than Truth or Justice or Our Neighbors next door

We're hanging Ourselves on a Rope called Apathy

Every day We kill the Earth a little more

With Our chemical wastes

And Our crazy Wars

And still We Say - Things will get Better - You know they'll get Better

It's a Lie !

We know it's a Lie

Behind it We hide from the things We're afraid of

No Evil We See

No Evil We Hear

Until We forget what it Feels like to Give Love

Can We Change the Lie ?

Can We Change the Lie ?

Respectfully,

Ron, actually that is not a new line as we all know. It was Reagan's line back in 1980 when he defeated Carter. If they think rehashing and recycling that tired old rhetoric is going to make people run out and vote for Romney they are sadly mistaken. They offer nothing new and their party knows it. That's why they have to pull stunts like the Clint Eastwood thing. Even members of their own party are disgusted and disillusioned. There doesn't seem to be a creative mind in the room. Even the people sent there to talk up a Romney presidency did not deliver like Rubio and Christie. They talked only about themselves. But then when you think about it, selfishness is their true brand.

I would like to add the people on the right wont admit they voted for romney/ryan when the right and their puppet masters take away their social security checks, raise they drug cost, see more people losing their homes and living on the street, see our vets not getting a damn thing for their medical needs, see their taxes going up while the wealthy and corporations steal what wealth is left, and finally living in a country that every inch has a mine, oil well, no trees, except where the wealthy live. I keep saying in the next years we will have soylent green type of american where the dirty water, dirty air, and people working as slaves will be the norm. People like Rove, the Kochs, and the other wealthy want total control as they are losers in life and all they have to show for it is their money. If the world ended today as we know it and money equals zero these people would die in short order. Their ilk have know idea how to care for themselves and I speak from first hand knowledge as many of my customers lived in the very wealthy areas of monterey bay area. These people didnt even know where the circuit box was let alone how to flip a breaker. If you get a chance watch some of the programs on current about the kochs and the other gop=tea baggers.

The gop=tea baggers have a new line are you better off today than 4 years ago? I think the country is better off and would have been better off if the gop=tea baggers hadnt taken the house. The country would have had more jobs, more public work projects going, more production as the workers would be buying goods which is the true trickle down not the reagan and gop trickle down. The people on the right dont get it as they are voting for a party that will cut their legs from under them. If you dont have comsumers you dont have business, and our banks and corporations arent investing in because they are hoping for the gop=tea baggers to control the country so they can run amonk again. The right wont vote on the issues and facts but will vote for hate, racism, and do this while blaming everyone on the left as the rich laugh all the way to the bank...

They live to lie. It's incredible. Senator Lindsey Graham stated "We are not generating enough angry white guys to stay in business for the long term". With only 2% of their delegates being Black, it seems all they have are angry white guys. The GOP tent has little use for brown people of just about any kind. That isn't the real America anymore, and their game rigging voter I.D. laws are being challenged everywhere. If you don't have facts, make them up. If you can't win the election fairly, cheat. Tell the scripted lies over and over like a good righty soldier on every righty media news outlet. They make me puke.

The Ron Paul story has been squashed like a bug by the robme forces. This is the rule of the republicon party. I can't imagine any Ron Paul supporter voting for the robme ticket. The only reason robme and ryan exist is the money; the obscene amounts of money buying our elected officials. We are no better than any corrupt third world country. Can you even imagine a robme presidency?

TAX THE RICH, I need a drink!

Two of my favorite quotes from a Republican.......one that had some integrity. He is turning over in his grave I am sure.

" If you want total security, go to prison. There you're fed, clothed, given medical care, and so on. The only thing lacking......... is freedom."

"A people that values its privileges over its principles will soon lose both."

Both quotes by Dwight David Eisenhower.

Ron,

Let's hope the Dem's will not let their handlers and PR people dictate what goes on at the convention. They need to start listening to the voices of the people.

It was the GOP handlers that put Eastwood on that stage Thursday night and we saw what the outcome of that was. Disaster. Imagine putting him on in place of the usual life story video that introduces the nominee. In my view it was a far worse blunder than nominating Palin in 08.

You'd thought they would have learned their lesson back then. You can't fix stupid.
