Clint Eastwood doesn't seem to be inspiring much confidence in young Republicans.
S.E. Cupp, Glenn Beck protege and co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC, said of Clint Eastwood's speech at the Republican National Convention, "A fist full of dollars? I wanted a fist full of cyanide by the end of that."
And speaking of Hollywood, what is up with this 2016 movie that is being promoted everywhere? So they are still trying to make Obama the Antichrist?? Didn't they start that before the last election? As I recall, the banking crisis began BEFORE Obama even took the oath of office. The collapse had already begun! Did they think Bush/Cheney were the masters of the universe untouched by greed or corruption? Those two INVENTED the terms! Who is going to take THEM to task??

The decision to air this nightmare of a performance..................should give some indication of what would be in store for a Romney presidency. If they can't even get it right at the convention, what will they do when put in charge of our defense? Our healthcare? Our economy?
Mr. Romney, "make my day" was a line in a movie." We are not living in a movie, reality check!!
Wasn't it supposed to be the President that they thought was "too Hollywood"? And they come out with this?????

Yes, I think he was playing the role of the senile old dude. I was waiting for him to scream get off my lawn.
BTW - I just heard that the Democrat convention will feature a lead-in speech by Betty White. Don't look now Clint, but Betty is comin.'

Since I am still overseas-I just saw some bits and pieces of some of those speeches, which was enough, I almost threw things at the TV, as it was. I saw just enough of Eastwood and what he meant by all of it, and that was quite enough. It makes me want to go out and buy a bunch of his movies, and TV things, bring them home, and then stomp on them until they are brocken up. I am not a violent person, but I have had all I can take from these people. I always thought that Eastwood had more class than that, I guess I was wrong. Very wrong!

I tried to listen to msnbc over the last week and had to finally give up. Like Ms Cupp I could not stomach it any longer. I wanted to throw something at the television. Everything said above is so true but unfortunately there are lots of people out there buying their b.s. This is so incredibly scary. Why are so many Americans so absolutely stupid? Why are so many of them buying this cr@p? I think msnbc interviewed this woman in Florida who claimed to be a Christian but was so loony I expected her to lay an egg. OMG! Wake the **** up, America. You are being bought and sold down the river by the richest 1%! Surely they cannot hate Obama enough to vote in these two lying clowns!!!!!

The invisible Obama that only the Radical Republican Party can see..........basically symbolizes the Republican Party perfectly.............it represents the lie, fear & smear campaign..........it represents who the GOP want you to see...........a fictional: Muslim, not one of us, America Hating, terrorist sympathizer, apologizer, fake birth certificate, food stamp, death panels, tax raiser, spender, paling around with..... & the list of lies goes on & on.............fictional invisible view of how they misrepresent the President of the United States.............Clint Eastwood was looking at and talking to a fictional Invisible President Obama who only exists in the Radical Republican minds.......the conservative crazies are the only ones in the room who could see the false GOP Invisible Obama...........basically on Big Citizen's United Commercial........sorry the Real President Obama is fighting through the GOP Obstruction while trying to fix the mess the Republican Party created.............President Obama is fighting for all Americans............fighting for the middle class!!!!!!!!!!!

Clint Eastwood, the Republican Party & the Networks need to live up to the fact that Clint Eastwood used implied swearing that was coordinated & planned in front of a live audience which included all ages and they just let it slide.........should have cut to a commercial or bleeped it out...........should never have happened in the first place.........implying President Obama was saying Mitt Romney should go F-bomb himself was tasteless & disrespectful.........yet Romney found it funny, entertaining & amusing along with the GOP crowd.....he might want to start an apology tour for it...............

What is the networks response to the many implied rated R themes Clint Eastwood used during Prime time????? such as implying Romney should go F%#! himself......the F bomb was implied..............what is the Republican Party's response?.......What about Mitt Romey's response.........it was reported by his camp that he was laughing the entire time????...............is it really any better than Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction????.......at least that was an accident & not planned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....in my opinion the fact the implied swearing is far worse than something accidental........

Clint Eastwood looked & sounded stupid and basically threw up all over the stage...........it might have been appropriate for the far right adult audience............but it was inappropriate for a national family audience...............come on little kids might have been watching????.........implying Romney should go F%#! himself........really?????.....not very family friendly????
