Republicans in tight races are distancing themselves from the Ryan plan. But in North Dakota, Democratic candidate and former Attorney General Heidi Heitkamp is up against Congressman Rick Berg, one of the Republicans who is embracing the Ryan plan. Heidi joins Ed to discuss the race and the ramifications. Watch it.

Ryan is running around talking tough about, yeah, we are ready for a debate on the Medicare issue yet when Britt Hume asks him some tough questions about it he turns to jello and can't even get an intelligible answer out.

Tell Rick Berg to keep his Dirty Outside SuperPac Money out of ND:

Rick Berg wants to hide behind Carl Rove's money instead of facing the People of North Dakota. Rick Berg is taking North Dakota voters for granted & is too arrogant to debate the issues in North Dakota...............what a coward. Rick Berg's plan is to hide from the people of North Dakota, tell a bunch of lies with Outside Money funding false political attack adds that smear Heidi Heitkamp..............Rick Berg voted against tax cuts for the middle class!!!

Rick Berg is a LIAR!!!!!!!

Every Carl Rove & Rick Berg attack add on Heidi Heitkamp is a complete lie or very misleading.

Berg vote for the Paul Ryan's budget that relies on the same $700 billion in savings from Medicare that Berg and other Republicans have been attacking her about, but Ryan wants to take those savings out of the Medicare program & give it to millionaires as a tax break giveaway while President Obama wants to keep that money in Medicare & spend it on health care.

Papers in Florida (with a huge retired population) are crucifying Ryan's medicare plan. The boomers vote, and there are a lot of us.

Those of us who believe that we are our brothers and sisters keepers have to continue to fight against the self-centered, egotistical libertarians (or whatever you call them) who believe in survival of the fittest. They DO NOT represent what this country is all about. We need to continue to get the TRUTH out so we can stop these conservatives without consciences.

Wendell Potter is the authority on your show tonite Ed, and Wendell knows.

Ed you and quite a few others in the media are calling the Romney Ryan campaign LIARS and you have the facts. Will LYING to the people, with billions of dollars for advertising, be enough to FOOL the American people sufficiently to get the WH?

That's the question, and it's scary to hear you ask it Ed.

Thanks again for your voice of courage and passion for truth.
