Keep Mitt Romney on the defense about his Bain Experience...............make Mitt run from it as a liability..................get it now?..........Mitt has to run from Romney Care, his past questionable business ethics & practices, his foreign bank accounts, foreign investments, foreign business on foreign soil, his tax history, being Governor & moderate & etc..........get it now?..........Keep Mitt on the Defense permanently.................

I agree that letting the Bush Tax Cuts expire would be a good thing...........I also understand that putting the Republican Party on record for being against extending the tax cuts for those making $250,000.00 is a winning strategy........Prssident Obama needs to win the election, the Democrats need to win back the House & a Super majority in the Senate.

Here is a great article from the Huff Post:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/11/romney-bain-capital-swing-states-priorities-usa-action_n_1663763.html

I hope those in the media & the Democrats who criticized get it now.............Democrats need to unite & keep politically challenging & exposing Mitt's so called business experience at Bain. Capital................Mitt is trying to run on business private sector business experience as if its actually good for growing jobs & the economy when his business ethics & practices are actually the problem...........

I created a petition at WhiteHouse.gov to send President Obama our message:

Allow all of the Bush Tax Cuts to expire rather than agree to the

Republican demand that the 1% continue to pay less

The Republicans are demanding that all of the Bush Tax Cuts be extended, allowing the 1% to continue to pay less. Rather than give in, President Obama should let all of the Bush Tax Cuts expire. We the 99% are willing to give up those cuts so that the 1% pays their fair share. Since the taxes will go up, the 1% will start to put money back into their businesses. This means they will start hiring, purchasing and contracting so that the tax bill is lowered, rather than taking the profit out of the business.

You can view and sign the petition here: http://wh.gov/OK31

We should let all the Bush era tax cuts expire period. And I mean for everyone. All that these Bush tax cuts have done is to have a deleterious effect on the entire public sector programs necessary to make our society hum. People have it in their heads that you can have something for nothing, which is the typical supply side lie the GOP has been pushing for years. If we let all the Bush tax cuts sunset for everyone, Congress and the President can meet in 2013 to pass a new form of tax cut for middle class people. We should do this, if and only if, the CBO, the Federal Reserve, and other distinguished economics expert agencies say it is necessary for the health of the economy. We need to let the Bush tax cuts lapse and if certain targeted middle class tax cuts need to be passed they should be passed into a comprehensive tax reform bill.

This type of approach would remove the GOP's leverage on this issue to blackmail the President and everyone else into supporting tax cuts for the rich. I am sick and tired of Mitch McConnell blackmailing and holding hostage the entire governmental process so his rich upper class GOP contributors can continue to get kickbacks from the federal tax code at our expense. My local property taxes here in Minnesota have gone up because the federal government does not have the revenue to share with programs at the state and local government level. I doubt Minnesota is unique, because policy commentators have been talking and writing about this tax burden "shift" for years. Yeah I get a few hundred dollars less to pay for federal income taxes but my property taxes have increased 40% because of federal cutbacks. The Bush tax cuts only work for the very wealthy. For all the rest of us middle class married souls with a W-2 and a mortgage to pay its a case of one step forward, two steps backward. Let's just stop the charades and end the Bush tax cuts permanently and replace them with smaller targeted middle class or poor working class tax cuts that actually help real people on Main Street instead of shysters on Wall Street who are fattening up their offshore tax accounts in the Cayman Islands.

If he has to veto all tax cuts at the end of the 2012, or allow it to sunset...cannot a democratically elected congress-with minimal tea baggers after the election reinstate only the tax breaks for the 98% in 2013?

Right now, if Congress were burning to the ground I would not spit on it. With a few exceptions they are all a bunch of worthless self serving jerks, male and female on BOTH sides. They are all responsible for the state this country is in right now. Years and years of perks, vacations, lobbying and taking money under the table, serving themselves and their benefactors while the country goes to hell.

He knows the righties wont go for it. The one trick pony right will never go with cutting the middle a break while allowing the top cuts to expire, even though the majority of the public now wants the rich to cough it up. Their precious effing Bush tax cuts are what they live for. Just look at the mega millions being spent by the hogs at the trough to get their boy Mitt in office. Nobody can convince me the wealthiest are going to be hurt by paying a pre-Bush era tax rate. The country was doing a lot better then than it is now. All Barack can do is to keep pointing this out, and hope enough brain dead can figure it out before putting an absolute phony like Romney in office. If Joe Average thinks we will be better off with the tired old I've got mine- screw you politics of the right, you are dreaming. Wake up now. Trickle down is mythology.

the gop=tea baggers wont vote for it as they say it is against the job creators. They rather spend their time trying to vote against the ACA. The people want to see waste in this country all they have to do is look to this gop=tea bagger controlled congress. Some gop=tea bagger congressman is saying that the dislike in congress for the ACA is bipartisan. Gee I guess you get a few turn coats coward democrats, and it is a bipartisan to do away with the law. I think the people in the 98% better wake up.

The gop=tea baggers are willing to destroy the economy to prove a point and this is their hate for this president and his policies, and it goes beyon politics but to their core hate of the 98% and people who will stand up the 2% who want to gut this country and destroy it citizens along the way. I keep saying the IDs will lead to what happened in germany in the 30's, the bills like the patriot act will lead to the lost of our rights of privacy, the gun nuts will lose their guns to these gop=tea baggers in the furture as you cant have citizens with guns that will finally get it and will rebel, and when this country looks like and is like the soylent green movie it will be too late for these people to rebel as they will have the numbers, but not the weapons because the power is in the hands of the few.

Sorry I sound like chicken little, but read history and follow the dots, I am not into conspiracies, but enjoy history and looking what happened and what cuased things to happen. This is what is wrong today people dont know the real history of this country and that of the world. The gop=tea baggers minions just dont get it (as that rich witch said about us lower uneducated wage earners) that they are being lied to. Does the gop=tea baggers message sound like something that we have heard before in history ..... hate fear racism religious bigitry do away with people we feel are inferior or against us and we will be fine........

just my humble views

To get the tax breaks extended last time, congress held unemployment payments hostage in a time of higher unemployment...this time unemployment is lower and cannot be used as a hostage taker. But i heard that all tax bills must originate from the house? and i'm uncertain that the house will extend the tax break for those under $250,000 without also extending it for those over. Which will mean a roadblock with dem controlled senate or a veto by barrack himself? I think president obama needs to use his bully pulpet on this one and make multiple primetime public announcements on this issue as it unfolds.-house/senate cannot agree, i'm vetoing this because its not acceptable to me though i specified what is acceptable to me..ect.

Ed: You need to apply honesty equally. If a tax cut does expire, it does become a tax increase. Democrats have downplayed these "Bush Tax Cuts" for years and years, calling them a "tax cut for the rich". But apparently, they include a middle class tax cut? When Obama last extended them, he sought praise claiming he had signed a middle class tax cut. == Ed, I do agree with you completely that in all areas where both sides agree fully, that legislation should be written and signed into law. And yes, let's let the voters decide in November on the rest, because I believe that situation will turn out in the favor of Republicans. http://www.vote-nobama2012.com
